Sublimation is great for large complex designs and is relatively cheap compared to other methods such as direct to garment, CAD cut vinyl, and screen printing (in most cases). It’s printed designs also last the longest, likely outlasting the shirt itself. Unfortunately for sublimation, it really only works well on light fabrics such as polyester. Using sublimation on a cotton t-shirt would be a disaster. Lastly, if you are only printing with basic designs, sublimation would be far from the speediest method.
