DTF (Direct to Film) Transfers – For Apparel & Fabric Surfaces

1. Pre-Press the Garment
   • Before applying your DTF transfer, pre-press the shirt or fabric for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
   • This helps create a perfectly smooth surface and enhances adhesion.
2. Set Your Heat Press
   • Cotton & Cotton Blends: Press at 300–320°F for 10–15 seconds.
   • Polyester or Performance Fabrics: Press at 260–280°F for 10–15 seconds.
   • Apply medium to firm pressure for best results.
3. Press & Peel
   • Position your transfer, design-side down.
   • After pressing, you can hot peel, warm peel, or cool peel depending on your preference — our Hot Peel feature allows peeling while warm, but cooling completely often produces the cleanest finish.
4. Post-Press for Perfection
   • After peeling, re-press for 5–10 seconds with a Teflon or parchment sheet.
   • This final step locks in your design, reduces texture, and adds durability. Pro Tip: The design may feel slightly tacky right after pressing — this is normal and will settle after cooling.

UV-DTF (Ultra-Violet Direct to Film) Transfers – For Hard Surfaces

1. Surface Preparation
   • Clean the application surface thoroughly using soap and water or a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water.
   • A spotless surface ensures maximum adhesion and long-lasting results.
2. Pre-Pressing Your Sticker
   • Before applying, place the sticker design-side down (white backing facing up).
   • Use a squeegee or scraper to press firmly 2–4 times across the surface — this ensures the design fully bonds to the clear transfer sheet.
3. Peeling the Clear Transfer Sheet
   • Slowly peel away the clear sheet from the white backing.
   • If parts of the design stay behind, reapply the sheet, squeegee again, and peel from another corner.
4. Application to Surface
   • Align and apply the sticker in one smooth motion.
   • For small stickers (under 4"), place it directly; for larger stickers (6"+), apply gradually from one side to prevent bubbles.
   • Once in place, squeegee firmly 2–4 times to ensure full adhesion.
5. Final Peel & Care
   • Slowly remove the clear transfer sheet.
   • If any part of the design lifts, press again, squeegee, and peel from a different angle.
   • Care Tips: Handwash only. Avoid dishwashers, microwaves, and extreme heat. UV DTFs are highly durable but can still be scratched by hard impact.

• Material Safety: All ADS Crafts transfers are made using materials compliant with CPSIA safety standards. If you have known skin sensitivities or allergies, test a small section before full application.
